When investing in Poland in the 1990s, foreign companies introduced their own proven technical and organisational solutions. One innovation was the replacement of the costly horizontal transport of cylinders with vertical transport in pallets. Cylinder bundles became widespread.

Many years of experience have shown that low manufacturing, repair and overhaul costs do not always ensure sufficient safety. Nor do equipment suppliers always fully comply with the rigorous safety requirements and regulations in force.
